When a crisis is in the news, it is hard to know what is true, what people actually need, and which appeals you can trust. Nidaa answers those three questions in a few minutes: a short, sourced briefing, the most urgent needs, and established organisations already working there.
Nidaa is non-commercial. There are no ads, no affiliate links, no trackers and no cookies, and we never collect money. Every donate button goes straight to the charity’s own website.
We list an organisation only when it meets all of these:
We are not paid by, or affiliated with, any of them. Where a charity states that it accepts zakat, we link to its zakat page; please check with the charity for the details.
Every figure on a crisis page comes from a named source, usually the UN’s humanitarian office (OCHA), UNHCR, UNICEF, the World Food Programme or the IPC food security analysis, with the date it was published. We link to live trackers because numbers change quickly, and we review the pages regularly.
If something is out of date or wrong, tell us at hello@nidaa.press with a link to the source. We will check it and update the page.
