Urgent appeal

Winter is coming to Gaza’s tent camps

A year after the ceasefire, families are still living in tents among the ruins. More than half the population still struggles to eat, and funding cuts are reducing hot meals just as the cold arrives.

Why your help matters today

Most humanitarian appeals in 2026 are far from fully funded. When money runs short, clinics close and food rations are cut.

Giving with confidence

Everything you might want to know before you give. Still unsure? Read how Nidaa works.

Still have a question?

Write to us and a person will answer, usually within a few days.

Does Nidaa take any of my donation?

No. Nidaa never collects or touches money. Every donate button opens the charity’s own secure donation page, so 100% of what you give goes to the charity you choose.

How do you choose which charities to list?

We list UN agencies and registered charities that are already working on the ground in that crisis, publish annual reports and accounts, and have a long track record in emergency response.

Where do your facts and figures come from?

From the UN’s humanitarian office (OCHA), UNHCR, UNICEF, the World Food Programme, the IPC food security analysis and other named sources. Every number shows its source and date.

Why should I tell you after I donate?

So we can thank you properly, show how many people are giving, and send you occasional updates on the crisis you supported. It is optional, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Can I give zakat through these charities?

Some charities, such as UNHCR’s Refugee Zakat Fund and Islamic Relief, state that they accept zakat. Look for the “Accepts zakat” label, check the charity’s policy, and ask a scholar you trust if you are unsure.

I can’t afford to donate. How else can I help?

Share a briefing with friends and family, check facts before forwarding, write to your representatives, or organise a small fundraiser. Attention brings funding, and funding brings help.

Even a small amount helps

A few dollars can become a meal, clean water or medicine. Pick a crisis, pick a charity, and give in two minutes.

Did you give? Let us thank you.

Your donation went straight to the charity, so we don’t know about it unless you tell us. It takes 20 seconds and helps us show others that people are giving.

We email you a thank-you and, if you agreed, occasional updates. We never share your details. Privacy
