Privacy
Short version: no cookies, no tracking, and we only keep what you choose to tell us.
What we never do
- No cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- We never collect donations or payment details. Donate buttons take you to each charity’s own website, which has its own privacy policy.
- We never sell or share your details with anyone.
What we keep, if you give it to us
“I donated” form. If you tell us about a donation, we store your name, email, the crisis and charity you gave to, and the amount if you entered one. We use it to send you a thank-you email, to show public totals (numbers only), and, if you ticked the box, to show your first name on the gratitude wall. Your email and amount are never shown publicly.
Updates. If you agree to updates or sign up for the newsletter, we add your email to our mailing list and send occasional news about the crises we cover. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores form submissions in a database. It also processes standard request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site; we record only the country, for aggregate statistics.
- Brevo sends our emails and manages the mailing list.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to be removed from the gratitude wall, email hello@nidaa.press. We will act within 30 days. Light or dark mode, and dismissing the appeal banner, are remembered only in your own browser.
